Can scripts only be created from virtual CDs?
If you try to create a script from an ISO conform file, then you get an error message that an invalid virtual CD has been entered.
Basically in Virtual CD v7 it is possible to create a script as well from an ISO conform file. However, at the moment, this is only possible via an indirect manner. To create a script for an ISO file please procede as follows:
- Create a script from any virtual CD (*.vc4, *.vc6).
- Open the script in an editor (e.g. notepad).
- Replace the path to the virtual CD in "aImages" with the path to the ISO file.
Alternatively instead of a link, you can create a shortcut to insert the ISO file. In the image file properties you can then also enter any possible program to be started.
In Virtual CD v8 and newer ISO conform images can be added during creating a script.
