Installation of and update to NDM 3.5 or higher
Please observe the following hints for the installation of and esp. the update to NetMan Desktop Manager 3.5 and higher:

Please note: You must have a valid license code to complete the installation. The license key of NetMan Desktop Manager 3.4 or older can not be used. If you have a license code for an earlier version and a current Software Service Agreement, you can exchange your old license code for a new one here.

Generally you can simply run the setup to update NDM. All required components will be changed automatically by the setup.

Up to version 3.4 the Apache Webserver is integrated into NDM for "internal" puproses, e.g. showing HTML based informaton pages. The HTTP port is set to 9280. As of version 3.5 NDM provides a web interface which can be accessed over port 80 per default.

Please be aware that even if there is another webserver running on port 80 (e.g. IIS), the setup will offer this port for NDM. In this case please change the port to another number!
In the case of an update you may want to leave the port on 9280 (esp. if the web interface is not planned to be used).

The same pertains to the HTTPS port (per default 443)!

Please also oberve that the NetMan Service is set to manually and stopped after an update up to version 3.7 in order to prevent the clients to be automatically updated (this is a setting in the NetMan Settings -> Desktop Client)!
