Error while inserting a virtual CD:

Error Code: 29: This error code means:
The virtual CD is not added to CD Management and in Virtual CD Settings -> Security the option "Prevent access to virtual CDs that are not registered in CD Management" is activated.
Error Code: 1000 (or -1. Invalid Index): This error code means "invalid index" which may have at least three possible reasons:

The index is corrupt, i.e. you're not able to insert the particular virtual CD at all - obviously this does not seem to be applicable.

When using the command line tool or VBScript please make sure that you're using quotation marks as soon as the path contains blanks, e.g. "C:\VCDImages\My Virtual CD image.vc4".

A third possibility may be that the user is not able to access the virtual CD and/or the file 'vcdimg.dat' where the 'content' of CD Management' is stored amongst others.
Please allow users access to write access(to the directories and files). The folder for the virtual CDs added to
- local view is selected in Virtual CD Settings -> Folders -> 'Folder for local configurations'
- global view is selected in Virtual CD Settings -> Network -> 'Folder for global configurations'

With Virtual CD NMS in the corr. profile settings the options "Deny access to unregistered virtual CDs" (i.e. virtual CDs that are not added to the CD Management/Control Center) and/or "No permission to use local virtual CDs" is activated.
