Virtual CD support in NetMan
NetMan has a special support for Virtual CD. It allows to insert and eject Virtual CD Images in Virtual CD drives in the background. The Virtual CD versions on the different servers or workstations may differ.
With the action "insert Virtual CD" the drop-down menu for
the selection of virtual CD drives is inactive. There are
no variables %NMVCDDriveN% in the environment check.
If you manually create variables %NMVCDDriveN%, they exist in the drop-down menu (without the letters), but the insertion does not work. (error code = 0).
Please download the new NMVCD32.DLL and copy this to the directory %NMHome%\Bin (NetMan XP) resp. %NMCHome%\Bin (NetMan 3 and NetMan Desktop Manager (NDM) (please rename the existing DLL!).
The version 3.0.0.4 of NMVCD32.DLL supports:

- Virtual CD v5
- Virtual CD v6
- Virtual CD v7
- Virtual CD v8
- Virtual CD v9
- Virtual CD v3 TS
- Virtual CD v5 TS
- Virtual CD v6 TS
- Virtual CD v7 TS
- Virtual CD v9 TS
IMPORTANT: This does not work when two (parallel) Virtual CD versions are installed. In this case only the more recent version is supoprted!
NOTE: Please restart the NetMan Desktop Client after changing the DLL (NetMan 3 and NDM). Otherwise you'll receive an error code 999.
