Error:
The start of an Virtual CD application stops with the following error message:

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000034). Click OK to terminate the application"

Resolution:
Please install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86). This is offerd by Microsoft within the Microsoft Download Center.

Note:
This error has been reported once with Virtual CD v8 and Windows XP SP2.
