please check

  • Does the given folder exist?
  • Does the user have sufficient privileges within this folder?
  • Does in the installation directory of Virtual CD the folder ...\program files\Virtual CD vX\System\Setup\Client\* including the extracted setup files exist?
If it does not, Virtual CD was installed with a Virtual CD Client Setup or was distributed with Virtual CD NMS to the station. Please reinstall Virtual CD using the full version.

Workaround:

  • Delete all files in C:\Program Files\Virtual CD vX\System\Setup\Client .
  • If necessary rename the setup file of Virtual CD vX as setup.exe.
  • Extract the setup.exe:
(Path_to_Setup.exe)Setup.exe /extract_all: C:\Program Files\Virtual CD vX\System\Setup\Client (please note that this folder must exist!).
  • Run again the creation of a Virtual CD Client Setup.
