global modifications for ejournals in HAN 2.1
Global modification for ejournals by H+H are configured in an external configuration file.

Global modification for ejournals through H+H are configured in an external configuration file. This file (global.cfg) is stored in the directory han\bin and should be modified through H+H only.

You can download the current global.cfg here.

Load the file gloabl.cfg and save it in the directory hh\han\bin.

The file contains modifications for the following servers/ejournals:

  • Springerlink
  • Ovid
  • NetLibrary

Notes:

  • Modifications of the file global.cfg will take affect on a restart of the HAN2 Webserver only (or, if just a specific account is affected by the change, through a "dummy change" of the account itself).
  • Modifications of the file global.cfg can cause failure of the HAN system. Modify the file only when demanded through H+H.
  • Modifications included in Version 2.0 of HAN kernel are no longer included in Kernel 2.1.
